SCIENCE: SKETCH NOTES CATEGORY 1 AND 2

Focus:   T-TESS Domains 1, 2, and 3

Geared towards middle school (6th - 8th) science teachers, this training will help teachers provide simple yet prescriptive sketchnotes for those students struggling to comprehend the complex concepts of Category 1 - Matter and Energy and Category 2 - Force, Motion and Energy. Teachers will basically be guided through sketchnoting the various student expectations focusing on what is assessed on the state assessment.

Focus:   T-TESS Domains 1, 2, and 3

Similar to SketchScienceNoting: Categories 1 and 2, this 6th- 8th grades sketchnoting session will address the student expectations tested in these two categories: Earth & Space (Cat. 3) and Organisms & Environments (Cat. 4). Teachers will be guided through the different sketchnoting components for different TEKS. Teachers will leave this training with a self-created notebook to help their students think visually in order for better comprehension of the Science TEKS.
