FIT: 8th Grade Science Category 3 Earth Science Day 1
Teachers will receive a Teaching Science by Design framework along with a content calibration guidebook for the enhancement of Category 3 Earth Science. Teachers will also receive additional resources to increase RIGOR in the science classroom and overall success with Masters Level on STAAR.

About The Event
This is day 1 of the a 3 part event that focuses the assessed curriculum for 8th Grade Science STAAR.
Roger Gomez, who has over 18 years experience in science education, will lead the online training and give teachers an in depth look at the science assessed curriculum, target how to approach the TEKS through science inquiry, and focus on the calibration of science content/process skills through student academic success.
Teachers will receive an abundance of resources and will be able to ask questions at the end of each day training.
