Using ELPS & S.W.I.R.L. for EL Science Success

This professional development session focuses on the integration of the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) and the SWIRL (Speaking, Writing, Interacting, Reading, Listening) framework to enhance science instruction for English Learners (ELs). Participants will explore effective strategies for creating an inclusive learning environment that supports ELs in mastering scientific concepts while developing their language skills.
