FIT: 8th Grade Science Category 1 Matter & Energy (McAllen ISD)
Teachers will learn the Cat 1 Teaching Science by Design framework for the enhancement of science teaching, science scaffolding, and cogntivie load limit. Teachers will receive science resources to increase RIGOR in the science classroom and overall success with Masters Level on STAAR.

About The Event
This is a 1 day event that focuses the assessed curriculum for 8th Grade Science STAAR Category 1 Matter & Energy.
FIT Science consultants who have over 20 years experience in science education, will lead the online training and give teachers an in depth look at the science assessed curriculum, target how to approach the TEKS through science inquiry, and focus on the calibration of science content/process skills through student academic success.
Teachers will receive an abundance of resources and will be able to ask questions at the end of each day training.
